As we know, writing permalinks on Blogger by default is in this format: https://www.name-of-the-domain.com/month/year/world_title.html. But the question is can we change or change Blogger's default permalink format to be like WordPress CMS permalink? The answer is, you can.
What is Permalinks?
But before I share, it's a good idea to know the meaning of permalink. Permalink is short for Permanent Link, this term is used to refer to the URL of a web page such as a static page and also a posting page hope you understand.
The permalink itself appears automatically when we are creating a new post on our blog, the form of the permalink is a unique ID that will appear when we make a post. An example of a unique ID is like this postID = UNIQUE-NUMBER-ID-POST which if we publish the post, the unique code will change to the title of our blog post.
Changing the Permalink Format to Like WordPress
Here I will use a special Javascript code made by V3rluchie on Github to Change the Permalink Format to Like WordPress.
( 1 ) To do that plese open Blogger > Click the Theme menu > Click the Edit HTML button next to customize > Then add the code below before the closing code of the body
or
or it can also be added just below the code
or

//

that's it's After that click, the Save theme button, and you are done. You can check the permalink changes in your blog posts.
In the result link above the actual permalink is
link
After adding the code above the link automatically changes to
links2
Will The Code Affect Our Blog's SEO?
Yes, maybe after adding the code above it will have a bad impact on our blog which results in a decrease in visitors and blog quality in the eyes of search engines.
I don't recommend the code above because basically, the default permalink is currently the best for bloggers, so we should still refer to the policies provided by Google so that our blogs remain safe, especially if the blog uses AdSense.
But if you don't care about SEO and want your blog to look different from Blogspot in general, it doesn't hurt to try it, think of it as learning material for new things.
Okay, that's enough about how to change the permalink format to be like WordPress. Thank you for visiting.
