Fix Thumbnails Not Showing Problem On Windows 11 |
Hi everyone welcome to our blog Droidnur123 My name is Droidnur I discuss about android windows in this blog if you like the post please bookmark your site.
Let's Update Windows Latest Version:
Before we do anything, we will update our windows to the latest version. Currently, we are running the 22H2 version of Windows 11.
I will use Windows 11 as an example. So let's check the current version first. For that we first click on the search / window button and enter "winver" to see the current version. Now to update to the new version go to Windows Update option from setting and check Windows Update and install it.
Disk Clean Up:
Sometimes this problem can be caused by not doing Disk Cleanup or Thumbnail Cache Clean up.
To do this process you have to first click Search / Start button (Windows 7) Now type Clean and select Disk Clean Up option a popup will appear from here Unmark all options Thumbnail option Now click on Clean Up System File Wait a while After waiting another popup will appear still in the same way murk thumbnail Ok te Click Delete Files e Click.
Always show icons, hever thumbnails:
In this step we will turn on the option to always show thumbnails. For that you have to open File Explore first and go to folder Option on windows 11 click on 3 dot (More) Option and click Option Now the folder option will be on.
Now, from the View tab, Unmark the Always show icons, always thumbnails option and Apply. Now you can always see your thumbnails.
Advanced Settings / Performance Mode:
Sometime while doing the best performance, I have unchecked the thumbnail option from my performance option, because of which the preview does not show.
So to fix it we need to click search e and enter Advance and go to Advance System Settings Now go to Advance then go to Show thumbnail Inside of Icons Tick Mark Apply and OK
Clear Cache With CMD:
For this you need to open Cmd first with administrator permission for that we click on search and write Cmd and click Run As Adminstrator and turn it on Now run these commends. Commands to clear thumbnail cache
1. taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
2. del /f /s /q /a %LocalAppData%
\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\thumbcache_*.db 3. Start explorer.exe
